Designed and built in the UK, the force 8 has been developed to separate recycled materials according to their aerodynamic drag. Its main application is to clean up the middle grade of recycled aggregates. But it has many other applications such as cleaning up wood, glass, metals, plastic and compost.

 

The Force 8 can include a vibrating screen to remove the fines and oversize from the product before it is fed into the air separation chamber. The lighter material is lifted up by a controlled stream of air, and pneumatically conveyed away. The heavy product falls through the separation chamber onto an elevator for discharge.
